This very large 38 inch Jade horse is made from one large piece of solid Black Liaoning Jade.
It appears Very Dark, almost black, with some areas of very deep dark green.
A very thin piece of this black jade if held under a light is actually very deep dark green in color.
But at first glance it looks black as night.
This large of a piece of Black Jade is extremely rare.
This Jade is mined in Liaoning province NE China.
This Horse weighs in the crate, without packing, 240 LBS.
