This fine bone art sculpture is a carving of 100% real bone. Made to look antique. It is called Good Luck meeting in Pung' Lai' (Shandong) Fairies Party Mountain.
Many Chinese historical charactors and fairies are carved on the mountain, together with delicate trees, flowers and many temples. It is all hand carved and hand painted scrimshaw. It is made of natural bones expertly fitted together.
It takes sculptors 6 months to complete.

WE ADOPT IT AFTER THE ELEPHANTS DIE IN NATURE.
THEY USED TO CARVE IN IVORY FOR MANY YEARS, HOWEVER, SINCE ELEPHANTS WERE PROTECTED FROM BEING KILLED ILLEGALLY, WE HAD TO USE BONES INSTEAD, AS IT HAS SIMILAR FEATURES AND IS AS HARD AS IVORY.
