You can see the fine detail in this carving. Some of the best carvers in China are here in these factories. Some carvers sit on the mountain on a rock and just carve the stone in the open air. This stone was mined from the Du Shan Mountain in central China.
Du Shan Mountain is one of the oldest places for jade mining and carving in China for many many years.
It is the most well known and loved jades in China. This jade is so hard it will scratch glass. It is not died or stained. it is all natural.
We have went to China and bought this peice direct from the factory. So you have no middle man to charge more higher prices.
